Cauliflower florets coated in a spiced gram flour batter and fried until crisp, served with a hot and sour chilli coriander and lime vegan mayonnaise. (vg)

Stracciatella (inner bits of Burrata) layered across a fresh salad of heritage tomatoes dressed with pomegranate molasses, mint & basil pesto, drizzled with a homemade crispy chilli oil. (v)

Smoked Aubergine, Spiced Labneh

Half an aubergine, smoked and roasted on coal, garnished with toasted seeds and pomegranate, served on a bed of spiced hung yogurt and a tabouleh salad of parsley, tomatoes and bulgur wheat. (v)

Roasted Chicken & Mash

Chicken breast roasted on the crown, served with a creamy chicken fat mash, charred sweet corn salsa and sweet and sour truffle chive buttermilk.

Onglet Steak

The Classic! Onglet or Hanger steak cooked medium rare, sliced and served with chimichurri sauce and a fresh watercress salad.

Crab & Chilli Tagliatelle

Homemade tagliatelle pasta cooked with a chilli and brown crab sauce, folded with fresh crab meat, sun-blushed tomatoes and finished with a squeeze of lemon juice, garnished with Pangrattato – toasted garlicky crumb.

Mackerel, Fermented Chilli

Whole butterflied mackerel grilled and garnished with fermented chillies, pickled kumquats and monk’s beard – a sea green. Finished with a sauce made with the roasting oils from the fish and chicken jus.

Picpoul de Pinet, Réserve Mirou

Staff Favourite

The Picpoul grape has been grown around the sleepy village of Pinet, close to the Mediterranean coast, for centuries. Surprisingly bright and fresh for a wine produced in such a warm clime, it’s rather like a fuller bodied Muscadet with plenty of citrussy fruit: as such it makes for a good food wine and is particularly good with seafood.

Strongly aromatic with a crisp vibrancy to the finish; it shows aromas of passion fruit, nectarine and lemongrass alongside other green herbs.

Salentein Single Vineyard, Chardonnay, Argentina

On the nose, mineral notes mingled with flowers and citrus. It is soft and fresh in the mouth with expressive floral notes The process on its lees adds elegance

This blend makes a light and typically characteristic wine. The grapes are hand-picked, and the juice is slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks. Maturation takes place for a short time in oak casks.
